In October 2021 we underwent an Ofsted inspection, resulting in a ‘GOOD’ rating and validating our dedication to learners and employers. However, more surprisingly, the inspection revealed that the integrity with which Starting Off recruited apprentices could also be applied to permanent job roles. And so, with a vision to further the careers of apprentices past their qualifications and support our clients further in finding the right talent for their business, S.O. Permanent Recruitment was born.
A Division with Purpose
S.O. Permanent Recruitment, a new division of Starting Off, specialises in recruiting for entry-level permanent office-based job roles. Building on our extensive experience in providing recruitment and training for office-based apprenticeships in IT, Marketing, Sales, Administration, Finance, and Leadership and Management, S.O. Permanent Recruitment seeks to extend its support to job seekers with 12 months + experience transitioning into the professional world. For graduated apprentices, the division offers opportunities to secure a permanent job role after completing their courses, while also helping recent university graduates find their footing in starter job roles.

In many ways, we are perfectly suited to fill permanent roles. Some apprentices don’t get permanent offers right away, and they come back to us for help. In the past, we had to send them to other agencies. But now, we can help them find permanent jobs ourselves.
